Meet Hamako Mori, Japan's 90YO gamer grandma

90 years old is a tricky age. But for Hamako Mori, she doesn’t feel like one. She plays at least three to four hours a day, battling the monsters.

Of course, it is challenging at her age but is coping up, she says. Her favourite game includes GTA and popular fantasy role playing game Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

She says that video games are stress relievers for her and there were times when she used to stay up all night to finish the battle.

Her love for games began in 1981 with cassette vision which she bought for children.

Hamako Mori added that she has finished more than 200 games and would love to finish more.

Her grandchildren started a Youtube channel for her to connect with fellow gamers. There are videos of her playing the game, her birthday video and her reactions on unboxing playstation.

She currently has more than three Lakhs subscribers and is famously known as Gamer Grandma.

With little motivation, people can do anything they want, she says. She also added that it is good to stay in and play during this lockdown rather than going out.

She says she is looking forward for the PlayStation 5.
