MI vs CSK match records highest ever TV, digital viewership

The first match of the Dream 11 IPL has recorded the highest ever TV and digital viewership.

Well, it is expected considering the fact that there was no cricket for months now and of course, there is no crowd. Still, recording 200 million viewership is something huge.

The official handle of Indian Premier League took to social media to post about this.

“Thank you, India 🇮🇳 and 🌏🌎🌏. It’s been a dream start to #Dream11IPL. We’ve recorded highest ever TV & DIGITAL viewership in IPL history

200 million viewership – #MIvCSK

The first match of the IPL witnessed the last year’s finalists CSK and MI. The former defeated MI convincingly, thanks to Rayudu.

This edition of IPL is currently happening in UAE and was shifted from India due to coronavirus pandemic.
