New Zealand declared Coronavirus free, all restrictions lifted

New Zealand declared coronavirus free as the last person who was isolating is symptom-free is regarded as recovered, Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield said in a statement.

A few days ago, they discharged the last patient admitted in the hospital and there are no active cases reported for more than 15 days now.

Talking about how she celebrated the result, she said that she did a little dance.

The normal life will be returning to the country as all the shops, malls and everything will be reopened now.

New Zealand had 1504 cases with 22 deaths.
