On this day: Yulia and Winda shared a 257-run partnership

In 2019, Indonesia women toured the Philippines for four T20I matches. The series marked the debut of Philippines team as well.

They went on to play two matches on two consecutive days with Indonesia winning them all.

In the first match of the day on 21st December 2019, Philippines batted first and got out for just 15, blame the bowling.

The debutant Agung Laksmi ended up with the figures of 5 for 5 and she had support from other bowlers. Ni Kadek Fitria Rada Rani, Ni Made Putri Suwandewi grabbed two wickets each while Ni Wayan Sariani grabbed a wicket. The team went on to chase the total in 10 deliveries.

In the 2nd match of the day, Indonesia batted first and went on to smash 260. Yulia Anggraeni and Kadek Winda Prastini added 257 runs for the first wicket which is the highest partnership for any wicket in cricket. Yulia smashed 112 from 68 deliveries while Winda scored 89* from 64. Philippines ended up scoring 78 runs.

A day later, on 22nd December 2019, Indonesia continued their dominance as they went on to win both the matches in the day.

In the first match, Anak Bastari scored 80* from 53 while Ni Putu Ayu Nanda Sakarini scored 58 runs. The pair added 127 runs for the 1st wicket as the team went on to score 217.

In return, Phillipines got out for just 30 as Ni Made Putri Suwandewi ended up with the figures of 5 for 8. Ni Kadek Fitria Rada Rani grabbed 2 wickets and gave away nothing in her two overs. Taskia Hanum had one wicket as well.

In the 2nd match, Ni Wayan Sariani’s 4 for 5 and Ni Kadek Fitria Rada Rani’s 3 for 2 helped the team to reduce Philipines for just 40 runs and they went on to chase the same in three overs.
