In the final of the Women’s triangular T20 series, the Challengers have managed to defeat the Dynamites in a thrilling final at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
Dynamites won the toss and opted to field first. While the Challengers lost their top-order quickly, Hafeez and Sana added important runs for the team and took them to 133 in 20 overs. The captain Shamim was the pick of the bowlers with 1 for 17 while Tariq ended up with 3 for 37
Chasing down the total, Nahida Khan gave the team an important start while Khalid had 20 and Imtiaz had a fighting 33. Some late flourish saw the team getting closer to the target but they failed and fell a few runs short.
Shah ended up picking 2 wickets while Anwer, Sana and Dar had one apiece as the Challengers lifted the trophy.
