Rajinikanth wants India to stay united amid nation-wide anti-CAA protests

Actor Rajinikanth wants the people of India to avoid violence and to stay united.

Rajinikanth took to his official Twitter handle saying, “Violence and rioting should not become a way to find a solution for any issue. I request the people of India to stay united and vigilant keeping in mind the nation’s security and welfare. The ongoing violence gives me great pain.”

This comes at the wake of the protest that is happening in various part of the country.

Reacting to the same tweet, Seeman, the founder of NMK party in his tweet asked him to express his views right and also added that it is insulting the students who are protesting against CAA braving suppression.

Earlier, when Rajinikanth was asked about his views on the incident at the Darbar Trailer Launch, the actor said that this was a cinema function and told the reporter to ask questions only about cinema. He also added that there is a different platform for him to express his views about the same.
