On Friday, the CAC three-member panel comprising of Kapil Dev, Anshuman Gaikwad and Shantha Rangaswamy interviewed all the five candidates after Phil Simmons withdrew his application.
After the interview, Kapil Dev stated that Ravi Shastri will continue as team India head coach.
“Ravi Shastri will continue as team India head coach as confirmed by Kapil Dev during the press conference. He also said that Tom Moody came a close third and Mike Hesson finished second in the race.”
Ravi Shastri will continue till 2021.
