Report: Deepak Hooda withdraws from Mushtaq Ali Trophy after argument with Krunal Pandya | Penbugs

As the Indian domestic cricket returns with Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy after coronavirus pandemic, the teams and squads were announced recently.

For Baroda, Krunal Pandya was named as the captain while Deepak Hooda was named as the vice-captain. In sudden turn of events, Hooda has withdrawn from the tournament after a heated argument with Pandya.

Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda got involved in a heated argument while practicing at the Reliance Stadium in Vadodara ahead of their game on Sunday. During the argument, it looks like Pandya has threatened him as well.

According to TV9, Hooda has written an official letter to Baroda cricket Association and has withdrawn from the tournament.

This is certainly a huge blow for the team who will be missing out Yusuf Pathan already.
