The Mumbai Indians Captain Rohit Sharma is fined 15% of his match fee for showing his anger on the field by hitting the stumps at the non-striker’s end after his dismissal.
While chasing a mammoth total against KKR, Rohit Sharma was given out LBW and even the review turn in favour of KKR, ruling him out. In anger, Rohit Sharma had hit the stumps at the non-striker’s end.
Rohit admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.2 of the IPL’s code of conduct and accepted the sanction.
“Mr. Sharma admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.2 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct and accepted the sanction,” an IPL release said.
Earlier, Rohit Sharma was fined 12 Lakhs for maintaining slow-over-rate against Kings XI Punjab.
Coming to the match, Despite Hardik Pandya’s fairytale innings, Mumbai couldn’t chase the target.
