Rohit Sharma shares the image of his “controversial” dismissal!

India took on West Indies on Thursday and Virat Kohli opted to bat first. After a shaky start, Rohit Sharma’s six and four off Kemar Roach put India back on top. However, as Rohit Sharma was looking good for yet another big knock, he had to walk back in the same over.

A beautiful delivery from Roach went in between the bat and the pads of Rohit Sharma and immediately the West Indies team appealed. While the on-field umpire didn’t give it as out, the West Indies team went for the referral and the third umpire decided to overturn the decision of the on-field umpire and gave it out.

The decision shocked the fans as well as Rohit Sharma who could do nothing but walk back with a smile. He was visibly upset with the decision.

Soon, the dismissal was the talk of Social Media as a lot of fans started to troll and abuse the third umpire for his decision.

Today, Rohit Sharma took to his Twitter page to share the image of his dismissal with two emojis.

Despite Rohit Sharma’s early wicket, the Indian team did well to bounce back to win the match convincingly against West Indies to stay unbeaten and to hold the second spot in the table.
