BCCI President Saurav Ganguly met the NCA head Rahul Dravid for a meeting on Thursday at the BCCI headquarters.
Both the former cricketers did not reveal a word about their meeting to the waiting media, outside the BCCI headquarters. While Dravid did not answer the press, Ganguly said that it was a normal meeting regarding NCA.
The meeting began at 12 noon and ended by 5 in the evening.
However, a source said the Apex Council had informally asked Sourav to speak to senior cricketers about the CAC since he shares a good rapport with players.
The source, however, refused to give any time frame about when the CAC, which is supposed to pick new selectors, would be formed.
