The Mumbai pacer Shardul Thakur will replace Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the ODI series that starts this Sunday at Chennai.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar who recovered just in time to join the squad for T20Is, was uncomfortable throughout the second T20I and later has picked up a groin injury and will have to sit out.
Since Navdeep Saini is yet to recover as well, the selectors had to pick between Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur and they are going in with the latter.
This is the second replacement in the series as Shikhar Dhawan earlier was ruled out and Mayank Agarwal replaced him.
