Simran on working in Tamil Remake of Andhadhun

Actor Simran is all set to feature in the remake of Bollywood blockbuster film Andhadhun.

She will reprise the role of Tabu in the film while Prashanth will play the role of Ayushmann Khurrana.

Talking about the role, Simran told to TOI that this is a huge responsibility for her as the film is national-wide hit. She also added that the role is bold and challenging, something she wanted to do in her career. She also added that she is confident about pulling off the character.

Talking about reuniting with Prasanth, the actor added that she is very happy to work with him again.

“I am happy about working with Prashanth again. I am also looking forward to working with Fredrick, whose Ponmagal Vandhaal was fantastic. This remake, too, will be made in such a way that it suits the Tamil audiences. We will start our reading sessions soon, and are likely to begin shooting by early 2021,” she said to TOI.

The film will be directed by JJ Frederick and for the film, Prashanth has been working hard to lose weight and also has brushed up his piano skills.
