SRH vs KKR, Match 3- KKR win by 10 runs

Kolkata Knight Riders registered their third consecutive win over Sunrisers Hyderabad as they defeated them by 10 runs on Sunday at Chennai.

Batting first, KKR had Nitish Rana taking on bowlers. Gill got out early-after playing the shot of the day with that lofted drive-Tripathi joined Rana to add an important partnership.

Tripathi made 53 from 29 deliveries while Rana had 80 from 56. A good cameo from Karthik in the end took the team to 187. Rashid Khan was the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 24.

In return, Warner and Saha got out early. Pandey, Bairstow rebuilt the innings, added 92 runs for 3rd wicket. Bairstow then got out for well-made 55. Nabi then made 14 while Vijay Shankar had 11.

In the end, the run-rate kept ticking and even with a couple of sixes from Samad, the team fell 10 runs short. Manish Pandey stood unbeaten on 61 while Cummins was the pick of the bowler for KKR with 1 for 30.
