Thai MP caught watching porn on phone during budget meeting

An MP from Thailand was caught watching porn on his phone during a budget meeting recently.

As per a Sun report, the MP had even removed his face mask to look at the photos more closely.

The MP Ronnathep Anuwat, after admitting his act, came up with an explanation saying that he received unsolicited messages from a girl ‘asking for help’ and ‘wanted money’.

When questioned, Ronnathep told local media that he viewed the images in detail as he was checking the background to decide if the girl was in some kind of emergency or danger.

He also said he wanted to ‘observe the environment surrounding the girl in the picture’. However, after more than 10 minutes, he said he realised the woman was ‘asking for money’, so he deleted all of the images.

The MP was summoned immediately but no further action was taken as there was no complaint regarding the same from other MPs.
