Recently, Tamil Nadu announced that there will be a containment plan which will be executed from March 29.
Health Secretary Dr Beela Rajesh said the government has kept 1,000 councilors ready to provide psychological assistance to those under home quarantine and for the general public.
Many officials are appointed for the same and they would go door to door to identify the conditions of the people daily and would help them out accordingly by providing the necessary help.
Greater Chennai Corporation via press release announced the plan on Sunday.
