UK’s patient recovers from COVID19 after 130 days in hospital

Fatima Bridle, who was the Britain’s longest suffering patient recovered from COVID19, moved to recovery ward now.

Bridle is married to Tracy whom she met through online in 2016 and the couple was living happily until Tracy got the symptoms of COVID19 in March. The couple was on a month-long trip in Morocco earlier.

Days later, Bridle had to rush to hospital as well. While Tracy, 56, recovered, Bridle, 35, was shifted to ventilator support since the antibiotics failed.

She then spent 40 days in coma and had to battle pneumonia as well.

Days later, she recovered 70 per cent but still was in the support of ventilator. By the end of April, she was free of COVID19 but her pneumonia got critical.

However, things slowly brightened up, thanks to the doctors.

She is now all set to be moved to recovery ward and will be using walker for a few days.

The couple did not Face Time because it was too emotional to see each other during this time. Tracy said that it will be emotional when they both meet which will be soon.

Unfortunately, one of the lungs of Fatima collapsed and she might never be able to breath in full capacity.
