Varalaxmi Sarathkumar distributes food to 1600 migrant workers

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar through her ‘Save Sakthi’ is helping out hundreds of people as well as animals during this lockdown. Now, recently, the actress shared a video of her team distributing food to migrant workers.

The workers left Chennai central station on the 9th of July to return to their hometowns. This has been going viral on social media and the video is winning hearts. “Yest one of the last few trains taking back our migrant workers back to West Bengal.. @saveshakti n our helpers gave 1600 migrant workers 3 chapatis, bottle of water n @snickers A Big thank you #chennaicorporation #chennaicitypolice #indianrailways @SBWHealth God bless you all,” wrote Varalaxmi on her Twitter handle.

On the work front, she has multiple projects lined up including Sathya and Sakthi.
