Viral Video: Shafali Verma hits a boundary from behind the stumps

India’s prodigy, the 16 years old Shafali Verma has been one of the main reasons why the team is currently doing well. In every single game, the youngster has made sure to give the necessary start the team India needs in the powerplay.

With her help, India managed to score at least 40 runs in the six overs. While she manages to stun us all with her beautiful loft shots, there were a few shots which makes us go crazy and she produced one of those brilliant shots during the match against Sri Lanka.

She moved across, waited for the ball and literally played it after the ball crossed the stumps. The video of the shot is going viral on Social media (Credits: ICC)

Meanwhile, India finished their league matches without losing a game and in the match against Sri Lanka, Radha Yadhav was the star performer as she picked up four wickets. In return, Shafali Verma’s quick start gave India the win.
