Modi’s lock down announcement : essential services to remain operational

Taking a massive step to prevent further spread of the deadly Coronavirus outbreak in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced that the entire country will be put under lockdown from midnight today. The lockdown will be effective for minimum 21 days, till April 14.

Addressing the nation for the second time on the epidemic, the prime minister said that the nationwide lockdown will be just like a curfew. Modi insisted that these 21 days will be much crucial for every citizen in the country. He picturised a quote stating

ना – ना निकले

No panic ! Here is the full list of services available during next 21 days.

Modi on Tuesday added that central government and state government is working closely to ensure essential services are available for people.

Meanwhile, The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in India stands at 519. Eleven people have succumbed to the virus till now.
