BCCI to donate 51 crores to PM CARES fund

The biggest and probably the wealthiest cricket board, BCCI has come forward to help the nation during the Corona crisis by announcing a whopping amount for donation.

This comes after the Hashtag #ShameOnBCCI that has been trending on Twitter for a while now where the people blasted the board for staying silent during this difficult time.

The Board took to Twitter to announce that BCCI along with other affiliated state boards will be donating the amount.

In the press release, the board also announced that they would be closely monitoring the process and are ‘committed to providing support to the state machinery in the face of adversity.’
