During his video chat with Kevin Pietersen, he revealed that it was health related.
In 2018, Kohli had spine related issues and his body was getting too acidic because of meat. Though he had right pills, it wasn’t enough and his body was taking calcium from his bones, making them weak. He added that he immediately decided to give up meat and right now he is feeling better.
In the chat, he also pulled Pietersen’s legs for falling for his wide delivery years ago.
