Mohammad Shami distributes food to guest workers

Amid lockdown, a lot of people who came for work in different parts of the country are currently stranded without job or money. Many individuals are coming forward to help the people in need.

Recently, Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami stepped out to help out a few guest workers in his place. BCCI took to social media to share the news.

“As #IndiaFightsCorona, @MdShami11 comes forward to help people trying to reach home by distributing food packets & masks on National Highway No. 24 in Uttar Pradesh. He has also set up food distribution centres near his house in Sahaspur,” the BCCI wrote.

The novel coronavirus outbreak has so far claimed over 5000 lives and infected close to 2 lakh people in the country.
