Nobody has breached our border: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that Indian borders were neither breached by anyone nor any Indian post was captured.

Speaking about the India-China stand-off Modi said that 20 valiant Indian warriors attained martyrdom during Indian Army’s conflict with People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China.

He said that these soldiers, however, taught lesson to those who dared look at Indian land. An all-party meeting was called by Modi to discuss with all political parties about the situation at the Line of Actual Control.

He assured that the Indian armed forces were doing everything that was necessary to defend the country.

Modi emphasised that as a result of the improved border infrastructure, Indian forces were in a better situation to handle the stand-off against foreign forces.

Earlier this week, 20 soldiers were killed in an armed stand-off at the border. Reports about peace talks between the two countries have been coming in for the past few weeks.
