Suresh Raina ruled out of IPL 2020. Returns home due to personal reasons

Chennai Super Kings vice-captain Suresh Raina will be missing the IPL 2020 and had returned home due to personal reasons.

The all-rounder had recently retired from international cricket and was a part of CSK’s conditional training camp.

“Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time,” team CEO Kasi Viswanathan said in a tweet from the Super Kings handle.

This comes as a big blow for CSK as the members of the team and a player had tested positive for coronavirus in Dubai.

The members were asked to self-isolate and will be entering the bio-bubble when they test negative.

The IPL is all set to begin on September 19th and will go on till November 10th.

Raina has been a huge part in the CSK after being part of the side for many years now and had scored most runs for the team.
