Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships: Pranati Nayak wins bronze

Pranati Nayak wins bronze medal in Senior Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Pranati Nayak finished with the combined score of 13.384 in the Women’s Vault category. She missed out Silver narrowly as Japan’s Ayaka Sakaguchi finished with 13.584, thanks to her Vault 1’s score of 13.867 while Pranati managed only 13.400.

This is some great improvement shown from Pranati Nayak considering her last year’s performance of 12.650 and finished only seventh.

For the uninitiated, this is the same event where Dipa Karmakar almost won Bronze for India in the Olympics where she finished fourth.
