Hima Das wins her 3rd international Gold in 14 days!

Well, here is some good news for the Indian sports fans who are busy mourning the semi-final exit of the Indian cricket team.

The World junior champion, Hima Das just won her third Gold medal in an international event in 14 days.

Her first Gold came in Poznan Athletics Grand Prix, in Poland where she clocked 23.65 seconds in her first competitive 200m race of the year on July 2.

Her second Gold came in Kutno Athletics Meet in Poland on July 8 where she also fought sore back to clocked 23.97 whereas Kerala’s VK Vismaya had grabbed silver with a timing of 24.06 seconds.

The third race was also a 200m event at the Kladno Memorial Athletics Meet in at Kladno on Saturday. Here she clocked a better timing, 23.43 seconds.

At Kladno, The trio Vipin Kasana, Abhishek Singh and Davinder Singh Kang won the Javelin throw event for India.

The other gold winners are- Archana in 100m (11.74 sec), Harsh Kumar in 400m (46.76 sec), Lili Das in 1500m (4:19.05), Sahil Silwal in the javelin throw ( 78.50m), women’s 4×100 relay.
