Anrich Nortje tested positive for COVID19

Delhi Capitals pacer Nortje has been tested positive for coronavirus according to reports in ANI.

Nortje and Rabada landed in Mumbai on April 6 and underwent quarantine for a week. Both the players missed out Delhi’s match against Chennai which the former went on to win convincingly.

Nortje is the 2nd Delhi player to test positive. Earlier, Axar Patel had tested positive and had recovered now.

MI’s More, RCB’s Daniel Sams and Devdutt Padikkal are other few players who had tested positive for coronavirus.

Devdutt Padikkal has recovered now and is likely to feature in today’s game.

Players who have tested positive will quarantine themselves for at least 10 days and with two negative reports, they are allowed to join the squad again.
