Asia Games: Men and Women compound Archery team grabs Silver

India’s both men and women archery team settled down for silver against South Korea in the final on Tuesday.

The Women compound team started off the proceedings well and was leading in the neck-to-neck match initially. The see-saw battle sees both sets of archers giving each other tough competition but an eight in the first of the final set of attempts ruled India out of contention.

The men compound team gave tough competition to South Korea and the score read 229-229. In the end, a shootout had to decide the winner between both the teams.

This takes India’s medal tally to 43.
