AUS vs IND- Indian players tested negative for COVID19

All the Indian players were tested negative for coronavirus on January 3rd.

The Indian players- Gill, Sharma, Pant, Shaw, Saini- grabbed attention when they were spotted at a restaurant which was considered as minor bio-bubble breach and the investigation began immediately.

The news went viral when a fan shared a video of them at the restaurant and explained how he went on to pay their bill.

While there are speculations and different theories around the restaurant visit, all the players were asked to isolate.

Now, the players have tested negative.

“Playing members of the Indian Cricket Team and support staff underwent an RT-PCR Test for Covid-19 on January 3, 2021. All tests have returned negative results,” the BCCI said.

India will take on Australia at Sydney for the 3rd Test on January 7th. According to ANI, Indian players have managed to shut down to keep themselves away from all media scrutiny and the players are practicing well and are getting ready for the Sydney Test.
