Ben Curran to play in Zimbabwe’s first-class competition

The middle kid of the famous Curran siblings, Ben Curran is all set to play in Zimbabwe’s first class team Southern Rocks this summer.

While his siblings Tom and Sam have made their name and got the opportunity to play for England, Ben has decided to follow his father’s footsteps.

Kevin Curran played for Zimbabwe 1983 to 1987 and later went on to coach the side. He died of a heart attack in 2012. In county side, Kevin played for Northamptonshire.

Similarly, Ben Curran has been a part of Northamptonshire for years now. He played in the team’s 2nd eleven before making it to the senior level.

Ben has played in 17 first-class games so far and has scored 857 runs at an average of 31.74. He has six fifties to his name and two of them came recently.
