CM Edappadi made an official announcement on Friday that there will be a complete lockdown from April 26th to April 29th in Chennai, Kovai, Madurai in order to reduce the coronavirus pandemic.

With more than 1000 cases, Tamil Nadu is one of the most affected places in India.
Chennai has the most active cases in Tamil Nadu.
India might extend the lockdown if they fail to flatten the curve by May 3rd.
