Tamil Nadu reported 509 positive cases today and as a result it goes past 9000 cases.
380 of the cases came from Chennai.
Also, 42 patients were discharged today taking the count to 2176.
Three deaths were also reported.
Total tally: 9227 cases, 2176 discharged, 64 deaths.
