COVID19: New restrictions in TN from May 6

TN government announce relaxation measures for industries in non-containment zones

Tamil Nadu Government has announced new restrictions to control the spread of coronavirus. All the restrictions will be imposed from May 6.

Grocery, vegetable shops to function only till 6 am-12 noon

Meat, fish shops from 6 am- 2 pm

All government and private offices to function only with 50% employees

Buses and Metro trains will work with 50% occupancy

As usual there will be lockdown on Sunday, only essentials will be available.

Petrol and Diesel bunks will work throughout.

No hotels and restaurants will be available, only take-aways.

Tea shops can run only until 12 PM.

No malls, theatres and other public gatherings.

Only 20 people allowed to attend final ritual.
