West Indies are all set to take on Sri Lanka and they have announced the T20I squad recently.
Both Gayle, 41, and Edwards, 39, have been named in the squad for the three-match T20I series.
Gayle is returning to the squad after two long years while Edwards is back after nine long years.
Apart from them, notable inclusion in the squad are Kevin Sinclair and Akeal Hosein, who have received their call-ups following good performances in domestic cricket.
