Ghana Pallbearers to take a break from ‘coffin dance’ to thank health workers

The Ghana coffin dancers have decided to take a break to show some gratitude to the health workers who are fighting the Coronavirus pandemic.

One of the band members had uploaded a video on Instagram and the caption of the post read, “From NANA OTAFRIJA to all the Doctors & Medical Workers in the world.”

Health workers across the globe are fighting the pandemic and tributes and applause are showering in from all sectors.

The six members of the Ghana Pallbearers group wearing suits and dancing while carrying a coffin has become famous recently and the photographs are virally used as a template for memes.

In Ghana singing and dancing with the coffin at the funeral is a tradition and they believe that it brings joy to the soul of the deceased.
