IND v ENG- India win series, defeat England by 7 runs

It was a sad ending to what you call courage innings from Sam Curran as the youngster almost got England home from 200 for 7. Nobody would have thought about it, Curran did have multiple lives, blame India’s poor fielding too.

However, the team had just too much on board to pull off a win after hiccups.

India began well with 103-run stand for first wicket. England then bounce back to remove Rohit and Shikhar back to back. While Rahul and Kohli left early, Pant and Hardik Pandya scored half centuries and with the help of lower order, India reached 329.

In return, India had Natarajan and Thakur stepping to remove the openers. Soon, cameos from others, Fifty from Malan helped the team to come back and it was Sam Curran’s brilliance that took team closer to victory.

Curran had support from tail-enders and made 95* from just 83. The team then needed 14 runs in the final over but Natarajan came back stronger to give only 7.

India now have won Test, T20I and ODI series against England.
