IND v WI, 2nd T20I: West Indies win by 8 wickets

It was a day to remember for the West Indies team as they destroyed the hosts to take the second T20I at Thiruvanathapuram.

After asking India to bat first, West Indies dominated early on by picking up both the openers a bit early. India had Dube walking in at number three and Kohli followed next.

Dube made use of the opportunity to smash all the way for his first T20 fifty, had four sixes and three fours for his 54. What followed was a sloppy batting, blame the conditions a bit, excellent bowling as well that made India finish the innings by 170.

Chasing the total, Simmons and Lewis gave the team a brilliant start with Lewis making 40 whereas, Simmons stayed unbeaten at 67. Pooran who is returning from the ban gave the team an explosive finish by scoring 23 off just 11.

The decider is on Wednesday where both the teams will travel to the Wankhede.
