Agaram foundation- Enlightening for 10 years

Consciousness towards equity is highly needed in our society and it can only be achieved by education.

Agaram foundation is one such organization which aims to enlighten people who haven’t touched education.

Agaram was started by the well known actor Suriya . They adopted Government Adidravida Welfare School in Palur, Chengalpattu district and built a library in the school. They launched “Agaram Katral Maiyam” to promote basic coaching for children in rural area. They focussed on the students of remote areas by launching a program named “Vazhikatigal”.

Under this banner, many programs and coaching centers were established and 3 government schools were adopted so far.

“Vidhai” is an initiative to support higher education and over 502 students have made the most out of this initiative.

Over 4000 students who thrive to study have been benefited in these 10 years.

Today it completes 10 years of educating students and they have made many lives to move forward.

And we wish the consortium to nurture millions of young minds in the upcoming years.
