Ishant Sharma ruled out of IPL 2020

Indian pacer Ishant Sharma who plays for Delhi Capitals has been ruled out of the tournament due to muscle tear.

“Ishant Sharma experienced an acute episode of left rib cage pain while bowling at a team training session on 7 October 2020 in Dubai,” the franchise said in a statement. “Subsequent investigations revealed that he sustained a left internal oblique muscle tear. “

Ishant Sharma has been a vital cog in Delhi’s bowling. Since he was injured early in the tournament as well, the team had to fill the void by adding new comers to the playing XI.

However, the overseas bowlers have taken up the responsibility and are doing well.

Delhi reportedly are looking for a replacement for the pacer currently.
