As Vinayagar Chaturthi is around the corner, we all will buy Lord Ganesh’s idols and after the festival we will take the statue to dissolve in the nearest water bodies.
The products with which those Ganesh statues made will pollute the ocean and it is a disaster to the living organisms in the sea.
SPROUTS ENGIRONMENT TRUST made clay idols with organic colours. They filled them with vegetarian fish food, making them ocean friendly and bio-degradable.
