On Wednesday, Australian men’s cricketer Glenn Maxwell smashed 70 runs from just 31 deliveries. One of the sixes off James Neesham’s over went on to break a chair at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington.
The seat which Maxwell destroyed during his knock will be put up for auction now. After the game, Maxwell signed the seat so it can be auctioned off for charity.
The seat will be auctioned to support Wellington Homeless Women’s trust.
Meanwhile, New Zealand have won the first two matches of the series and Australia have managed to pull things off in the 3rd T20I.
Maxwell capitalized on the start produced by the skipper Finch and the team ended with a massive total.
New Zealand began well with Guptill and Williamson adding a tiny partnership in the middle followed by Conway. However, Agar took over the center stage and returned with six wickets to help Australia win with ease.
