One day we’ll kick a ball together in the sky above’: Pele

Former Argentina football star Diego Maradona recently passed away at his residence because of cardiac arrest. He was 60.

Several stars and fellow legends mourned the death of the superstar. The football legend Pele also provided a statement.

“Certainly, one day we’ll kick a ball together in the sky above,” he said in a brief statement provided to Reuters by a representative.

India superstar IM Vijayan recalled how Maradona refused to cut a cake that had football on it. He also added that playing Football with him for few minutes during his visit to India is the best moment for him. He also added that Maradona is a God.
