Rohit Sharma reveals why Ritika cried during his 3rd double hundred

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan recently spoke to Mayank Agarwal in a chat show organized by BCCI called Open nets with Mayank.

Recalling the incident, Rohit Sharma was asked about his wife Ritika’s reaction during his third double hundred.

Rohit said that he asked the same to Ritika and she told that she thought he had twisted his hand while running his 196th run.

“I just asked her why did she cry? She told me she thought before that, I think it was my 196th run where I had to dive, so she thought I had twisted my hand. That was a real worrying factor for her and she got really emotional because of that, I guess,” Rohit told Mayank. Rohit further mentioned that the knock was special because it came on the day of his wedding anniversary.

This knock came against Sri Lanka at Mohali where he smashed 208 off 153 deliveries.

Rohit had hit 13 fours and 12 sixes in that innings. This knock took India to 392/4 in 50 overs. The team eventually won by 141 runs.
