IPL 2020, CSK vs SRH- CSK register their 3rd win of the tournament

Chennai Super Kings batted first for a change and it worked miracles for them as the team registered their 3rd win after a cluster of losses.

The pitch seemed a bit slow and SRH bowlers did well to keep things simple. CSK brought Piyush Chawla for Jagadeesan and made Sam Curran open the innings for a change. Curran made 31 from 21 while the team lost Faf du Plessis early.

Shane Watson(42) and Ambati Rayudu(41) added a valuable partnership to drag CSK to 167 from their 20 overs.

Sandeep Sharma was the pick of the bowlers for SRH, he ended up with 2/19.

In return, CSK bowlers did well to remove Warner and Pandey early. Bairstow and Williamson added tiny partnership but the former got out soon as well. Williamson scored 57 and was the lone warrior for his team that went 20 runs short of the target.

CSK rotated the bowlers well. The team used 7 bowlers and only two bowlers finished their full quota.
