In the final warmup match of the World Cup, India took on Bangladesh at Cardiff and Bangladesh after opting to field first were on top as they went on to remove the top-order of India for less score. It was the partnership from KL Rahul and MS Dhoni that brought India back to the game. Both the players went on to score a ton with Dhoni being the fastest among the two.
Though the match was a thriller, the players had their moments as well. Be it Kuldeep’s bromance with Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma’s dive at the boundary. The players had their moments.
Beating all these, MS Dhoni did what he always love to do, setting up the fielding but this time it was for the opponent side. Yes, you read that right. Dhoni, in the 39th over, stopped batting and asked the bowler to stop bowling midway and actually advised, yes, advised him to remove his fielder from mid-wicket to square leg.
What made it even more incredible is that the bowler actually listened and moved the fielder, putting a smile on the faces of everyone.

Of course, Dhoni might be questioning the bowler who had started to bowl while the fielder was moving, something that distracted him and there are a lot of chances that he might not actually be “setting the fielding” because there’s no exact proof for that, but hey, it’s Dhoni. Also, considering the fact that some seven to eight Bangladesh players had fanboy moment when they went on to shake hands with the Indian openers when Shikhar and Rohit came out to bat (according to Cricbuzz), this is possible too.
