Australian cricketer Steve Smith took a blinder at the second slip to dismiss Kiwis captain Kane Williamson in the day 2 of the first Test against the visitors at Perth.
It all happened on the fourth delivery of the 23rd over when Williamson ended up edging an out-swinging delivery from Australia fast bowler Mitchell Starc.

After winning the toss, Tim Paine opted to bat and the team put on a total of 410, thanks to Labuchagne’s ton. In return, Australia grabbed two wickets early to send both the openers of New Zealand back.
Coming at number 3, Kane Williamson added 34 to the total and along with Ross Taylor he put New Zealand to a decent position.
At the end of day 2, New Zealand are 109 for 5 with Ross Taylor batting at unbeaten 66.
