Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh will not travel with the Chennai Super Kings squad to the UAE. The members of the squad will leave to UAE on Friday.
The spinner reportedly told the franchise that he needs time because his mother is unwell. He will be joining the squad in two weeks. He also missed the training camp along with Ravi Jadeja, Shardul Thakur. However, the other two will be joining the squad for Friday.
CSK will also miss Faf Du Plessis who will not travel immediately to UAE due to personal reasons. Du Plessis also missed out South African board’s culture camp.
CSK had camp in Chennai at their home ground with players like MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina sweating out in a closed environment. It is reported that MS Dhoni was very satisfied with the camp.
The IPL begin on September 19th and will be played till November 10th.
