Michael Vaughan credits Rahul Dravid for instilling the right mentality in youngsters

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has credited former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid for instilling the right mindset among the youngsters. He added that we keep mentioning about Indian Premier League but a lot of credits must go to Dravid’s work with his A-side.

“Whatever India are doing behind the scenes, I know we keep mentioning the IPL but I think Rahul Dravid with his A-side and development program is clearly instilling the right mentality in his players. Full credit to the system that India have produced, they are getting it absolutely right,” Vaughan told Cricbuzz in an interview.

Rahul Dravid has been instrumental in the growth of second string team in India. He has been associated with the Under-19 team as well as with NCA for a while now.

It is under Dravid’s tutelage that India won the U19 World Cup with Prithvi Shaw leading the team from the front and a lot of players who are currently part of the Test squad has spoken about his impact as well.
