CSK vs DC, Match 2- Delhi win by 7 wickets

Wankhede Stadium once again witnessed one of the best chases in the history of IPL, thanks to Delhi openers who made batting look easy.

It was Avesh Khan who made things difficult for Chennai Super Kings initially alongside Chris Woakes. The duo ended up dismissing openers and CSK found themselves at 7 for 2.

Moeen Ali then joined hands with Suresh Raina, added 53 runs to the total. Ali got out for 36 while Raina carried to make fifty on his comeback.

Raina had 54 from 36 and then there were cameos from Rayudu, Curran and Jadeja who took the team to 188 in 20 overs.

In return, the match was more of an one-way traffic with Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan taking on the bowlers.

The duo did well, played according to the situation, didn’t give much for the CSK bowlers. There were placements, attacking shots, sensible running and what not.

They added 138 runs together and Shaw was the first wicket fall, went for 72 from 38. Dhawan then got out after making 85 from 54.

In the end, the team went on to win by seven wickets with captain Pant hitting the final runs.

Now, Delhi have won three matches in a row against Chennai Super Kings.
